Sian Loveless (PhD started October 2008) is studying the structural and coupled hydraulic architecture of faults in different tectonic settings within the eastern Gulf of Corinth. We hypothesize that the strongly variable fault-slip rates and the juxtaposition of lithified rocks against unconsolidated sediments are important parameters controlling the architecture of fault zones that can be ideally studied in this area. |
